Description
It is said that the Mridanga is an incarnation of Lord Krishna’s brother, Lord Balarama Himself. The Mridanga is a powerful musical instrument that uplifts devotees into a state of bliss and devotion during the chanting of Lord Krishna’s holy names. Whether the kirtan is with thousands of people or just a few, the Mridanga elevates consciousness and helps everyone focus more deeply on Krishna.
This brass Mridanga drum is made in India. The heads and straps are crafted from ahimsa (non-violent) leather using traditional methods. The classic design and craftsmanship of this Mridanga give it a unique sound—producing a high-pitched bell-like tone on the smaller side and a deep bass tone on the larger side.
This instrument is one of the most important kirtan instruments in India, especially popular in eastern parts of the country. Since it is difficult to find in Western countries, our company has decided to offer it to our valued devotees.
We will deliver it in a specially designed 7-ply carton box marked with "HANDLE WITH CARE / FRAGILE" to ensure safe delivery.
